UK police have been studying gangsta rap slang in hopes to quell a growing narcotics problem, specifically in the kingdom’s prisons.

PHILADELPHIA — An Ivy League graduate has been ordered by a federal judge in Philadelphia to serve four years in prison in a $100,000 identity-theft scheme.
Edward Anderton's sentence is one year less than the one for his glamorous ex-girlfriend, Jocelyn Kirsch.
The sentence for Kirsch, a former Drexel University student, is more severe because she continued to commit crimes after their arrests.

A former Sandy police officer turned himself in to authorities today after he was charged with identity theft, first-degree official misconduct and misuse of a license.
William Jacob Bergin, 27, surrendered at the Clackamas County Jail after he was indicted by a grand jury. The indictment did not provide details of the accusations against Bergin.
